Exact dates, times and availability are all on the ticketing page.

Coming up next

  2. Can & Sparkling
  3. White & Sweet

The themes

Three evenings.
Three playgrounds.

Blind tasting: blindfolded participants and a wine can on the table of the vaulted cellar 1st Thursday

Can & Sparkling

Your senses are put to the test from the very first glass. Can you tell whether the wine you are drinking came out of a can or out of a bottle? A genuinely surprising experience that invites you to drop your assumptions and trust nothing but your own perception. The evening carries on around a Crémant, explored from several different angles, before we take a more festive turn with a cocktail created for the occasion. Between blind tasting, conversation and tasty discoveries, this Wine Break shows that the pleasure of wine can rhyme with creativity and simplicity too.

Glass of sweet white wine surrounded by aroma vials and black blind-tasting glasses in the vaulted cellar 3rd Thursday

White & Sweet

Set off to discover sweet white wines through a playful tasting where the senses take over. Between exploring aromas with a scent game, discovering the different textures on the palate and pairing food with wine, you will learn to recognise what you like without needing any wine vocabulary. A tasty, friendly and surprising experience, guided by nothing but your own sensations.

Three glasses of Beaujolais red by candlelight, with aroma vials and a food pairing board 4th Thursday

Light & Fruity Reds

Discover how a single grape variety can tell completely different stories depending on where it is grown. Through three Beaujolais appellations made from Gamay, you will explore the influence of terroir on the aromas, the structure and the personality of the wine. With food and wine pairings, sensory challenges and games built around aromas, you will learn to pick up those nuances by yourself, simply by trusting your senses. A friendly tasting to travel through the terroirs of Beaujolais, without jargon and with a great deal of pleasure.

During the evening

What we actually
get up to.

  • Blind tasting

We pour, we taste, we guess. No label, no preconception: only what the senses have to say.

  • Group quiz

Team against team, bets placed, wrong answers, laughter. Nobody really loses.

  • Le Nez du Vin

The aroma vials go round the table. All that is left is putting a name on what you smell.

  • Le Toucher du Vin

Velvet, silk, lace: fabrics to touch so you can finally say what the wine does on the palate.

  • Our winemakers

The explanation lands right after the game, once the question has come from the table. Answers, never a lecture.

  • Food and wine pairings

Every wine arrives with its own bite. Taste before, taste after: it is not the same wine any more.

Le Toucher du Vin, in fabrics:

Velvet Velvety tannins, roundness
Silk Silky finish, lightness
Canvas Structure, firm tannins
Lace Bubbles, freshness, vivacity
